Motor Speedway

Louisville Motor Speedway opened in 1926.  Racing for 4 years, the track attracted the best drivers from the Midwest.  Louisville Speedway hosted a AAA sanctuoned race, and set records in the region.

 

 

 

 

The little community of Medora, south of Valley Station was named for Medora Miller Weller was named for the Bourbon legend, William Large Weller.
